• Cash In New Service in Support of CCCL

    On Thursday, July 10, 2014, Cash In launched its new service in support of the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) at the CCCL Front Garden; with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Khalife, Former Lebanese Minister of Health, Mr. Gilbert Najjar, representing the Minister of Telecommunications Mr. Boutros Harb, Mrs. Salwa Samlan, CCCL Chair, Mr. Paul Edde, CCCL Secretary of the Board, Dr. Hassan El Solh, CCCL Medical Director, Mrs. Hana Chaar Choueib, CCCL General Manager, Mr. Ayman Jomaa and Mr. Najib Abou Hamze, Partners at ARbooster, Mr. Joe Awwad, ARbooster COO, Mr. Marwan Hayek, General Manager of Alfa, Mr. Wassim Mansour, General Manager of Touch; in addition to the renowned celebrities Superstar Ragheb Alameh, Ms. Wafaa Kilani, and Mr. Georges Kordahi.

    “Cash in” is a new service in Lebanon which allows subscribers to charge people who call them extra cents per minute. The service is originally for professionals such as doctors or lawyers who want to charge for phone consultations.

    And to give back to the community and support kids battling for their life against cancer, Cash In created a special category of surcharge services dedicated to helping CCCL. This category can be activated by anyone interested and will charge callers an extra 5 cents per minute, out of which 2.5 cents goes to CCCL.

    The ceremony started with a heartfelt word from CCCL Chair, Mrs. Salwa Salman, thanking ARbooster for their initiative and highlighting the importance of such partnerships for the CCCL to achieve their mission, followed by a word from ARbooster COO, Mr. Joe Awwad, explaining the Cash in service and their support and commitment to the CCCL cause. Last by not least, on behalf of the H.E. Minister Boutros Harb, Mr. Gilbert Najjar confirmed their support to this initiative and the CCCL cause of saving kids’ lives.
